BONFIRE THEMED COFFEE MORNING.

On Sat 4th November at 10am. in St Lawrence Church, Centenary Avenue, South Shields. Homemade cakes, games, quiz, raffle.

WORLD DIABETES DAY

World Diabetes Day is on 14th November. There will be an awareness event at Cleadon Park Primary Care Centre from 10AM to 1PM, led by health professionals. At 5PM, the Town Hall will be illuminated by blue floodlights. For more details see southtyneside.diabetesukgroup.org

SILVER BAND CONCERT

Featuring the People’s Mission Silver Band, in St Gregory’s Church Hall, South Shields on Sat. 18th November. 2.00pm – 4.00pm Concert starts at 2pm. Admission £3 includes tea/coffee and mince pie.  All proceeds in aid of Breathe Easy South Tyneside.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL AND FAYRE

At All Saints’ Church, Cleadon on Saturday, November 25th from 10am

Various stalls with gifts, cakes, organic produce, tombola, and the Grand Draw.

It will be opened by Jayn Gray and Cleadon Village School Choir. Activities for children and refreshments including soup, sandwiches, scones and cakes with tea or coffee will be available.

HOME READERS LIBRARY SERVICE

This free service is provided by South Tyneside Libraries for people who cannot

get to a library for themselves. Full time

carers can also use the service. Readers

receive a home visit on a monthly basis

and have access to ordinary and large

print books as well as spoken word on

cassette and CD.
